Non-combustibility The non-combustibility and combustibility of uniform and non-uniform construction materials of actual elements are measured by the tester. The evaluations (results) are growing furnace temperatures, fundamental mass loss, and specimen igniting. It completely complies with GB/T 5464 and ISO 1182 international standards. This testing equipment employs a module type temperature controller to remain stable at the furnace setting of 7505°C for 60 minutes and get precise test results. Another benefit is the automatic up-down specimen moving system, which ensures correct results, as well as the simple method.

Test procedure:

1、Test environment

The apparatus shall not be exposed to draughts, any form of strong direct sunlight or artificial illumination which would adversely affect the observation of flaming inside the furnace. Surrounding areas should be prepared in such a way that they do not interfere with the observation. The room temperature shall not change by more than 5。C during a test.

2、Set-up procedure

(1) Specimen holder

Remove the specimen holder and its support from the furnace.

(2) Thermocouple

Position the two furnace thermocouples as specified place, and position additional thermocouples, if required, as specified and Annex C. Connect all thermocouples to the temperature indicator  using compensating cables.

(3) Electricity supply

Connect the heating element of the furnace either to the voltage stabilizer, variable transformer and the electrical input monitor or the power controller. Automatic thermostatic control of the furnace shall not be used during testing.

The heating element normally draws a current of between 9 A and 10 A at approximately 100 V under steady state conditions. In order not to overload the winding, it is recommended that the maximum current not exceed 11 A. It is recommended that a new furnace tube be subjected to slow heating initially. A suitable procedure has been found to increase the furnace temperature in steps of approximately 200 °C, allowing 2 h heating at each temperature.

Test procedure:

The test shall be carried out in the furnace described.  The furnace temperature shall be measured by the thermocouple, positioned so that its hot junction is 10 mm from the wall of the furnace and at mid-height of the specimen. A second thermocouple shall be placed in the centre of the specimen, inserted from the top through a 2 mm diameter hole drilled, where necessary, for this purpose. This shielded thermocouple shall maintain contact with the material at the bottom.

The furnace shall be heated and its temperature stabilized at 750士10 °C for a minimum period of 10 min. The specimen shall then be inserted in the furnace, the whole operation being performed in not more than 5 s. A record shall be made for a further 20 min of the temperature of the two thermocouples by means of a continuous recorder;  the occurrence and duration of any flaming in the furnace shall be noted. The stabilized heating current shall be maintained unchanged for the period of the test.

6.  Equipped with power controller.

7.  Thermometers: 0 ~ 1000 ℃ ± 5%.

8.  Equipped with a mirror to see the internal of the furnace.

10.  The test sample device is automatically lifted by the motor, and the operation is safe and reliable.

11.  The use of high-quality strip heater, furnace temperature was raised to 900 ℃.

12.  Programmable logic controller (PLC) use of modern electronic devices to heating process automation, greatly extending the life of burners:

1) Thyristor voltage regulator, PLC output signal to control the heating voltage of 0-110VAC. to eliminate the impact of voltage fluctuations on the temperature.

2) PLC plus solid state relay to achieve PID control heating, to ensure uniform temperature up to 750 + 1 degrees C.

3) Built a new furnace heating, temperature calibration, temperature three normal test procedures.

4) Embedded integrated 7 "touch screen for control parameter setting and display / test data acquisition and preservation / screen monitoring / real-time temperature curve shows / historical curve and data query.

Calibration Test Report before Leaving the Factory:

Before shipment, the ISO 1182 non-combustibility tester will be calibrated and tested. It is used to test the temperature of the furnace wall, the temperature in the furnace, and the normal operation of different basic operations. We ensure that our ISO 1182 Non-combustibility tester is fully trouble-free and that the test results are highly consistent. Along with the equipment, the customer will receive the calibration test report for the non-combustibility tester.
