  Introduction:  

Wires and cables that can pass the GB / T18380.3 (similar to IEC60332-3) test are typically referred to as being difficult to ignite and having the capacity to stop or slow the spread of flames. The most recent standard criteria of BS6387-2013 are completely complied with by the IEC 60331 Wire and Cable Fire Resistance Test and Hammer Test Machine. The cost of several electrical control boxes for customers can be greatly reduced by the design and construction of the equipment. On the basis of an electrical control box, it may test three different things.


The device is controlled by a touch screen microprocessor, and users can freely choose from a variety of experiments on the screen.


Additionally, the hammer test bench is capable of performing manual or automatic auxiliary ignition. The flame's maximum temperature is greater than 950 degree.

  Main Features:  

Fire Resistance Test:

1. The burner is a belt-type propane gas torch with a Venturi mixer; the nozzle measures 500mm long and 15mm broad and also has a Venturi mixer.

2. Three rows of staggered combustion holes, the width of the front end of the burner is 15mm, the diameter of the hole is 1.32mm, and the distance between the centers of the holes is 3.2mm.

3. To keep the flame burning, a series of guide holes is supplied on both sides of the nozzle plate.

4. Dual flow meters and pressure regulation are imported.

5. Airflow rate (80 5) L/min; propane flow rate (5 0.25 L/min).

6. A temperature measuring device with a diameter of 2mm; (K-type thermocouple).

7. The sample holder has a clip attached at one end to secure the sample, and the other end aids in heat transfer along the sample's longitudinal axis.

8. Two metal rings with a median length of around 300mm support the cable sample.

9. The inner diameter of the metal ring that supports the sample is 150 mm, and the ring section has a diameter of 10 2 mm.

10. The burner torch must be at least 200 millimeters from the combustion box's bottom and 300 millimeters from the box's wall.

11. The lower end of the cable sample is 70 10 mm from the burner torch's horizontal axis, and the longitudinal axis of the burner is about 45mm from the vertical axis of the cable.

12. Installing two 1.5mm diameter thermocouples (A, B) horizontally on the left and right sides 45mm from the burner centerline, and checking that the flame temperature is within 750 + 50 oC (BS6387 standard states that the temperature can reach 950 oC).

13. Thanks to its intelligent detecting feature, the sample will immediately alarm and shut off the fire source if a short circuit occurs during the test.

14. Intelligent touch screen control, automatic test data recording, and storage via PLC.

15. The sample circuit's fuse current is 2A.

16. The example application power ranges from AV 100V to 1000V.

17. The fire supply period can be customized; a 90-minute period is generally advised.

18. There is an optional 27m3 combustion chamber.


Hammer Test:

1. Spray-painted cabinet with an impact-resistant stainless steel bracket.

2. An autonomous motor strikes a control panel.

3. A 600-inch-long, thick, circular steel rod with a 25-cent hammer.

4. The thumping cone freely thumps at a 60-degree angle.

5. The motor-driven rod hammer impacts objects periodically.

6. Hammer cycle (time): 10 to 999 seconds (may be adjusted; the norm is for 30 to 2 seconds/time).

7. Test duration was 0–9999 seconds.

8. Band burner (also known as the spray test) (shared with refractory combustion test bench).

9. The test temperature should be between 600 and 1000 °F (A grade 650 °, B grade 750 °, C, D grade 950 °).

10. The diameter of the thermocouple used to measure temperature is less than 2mm. (Shared with the test bench for refractory combustion);
