Introduction:

The four ball machine can be used to determine the anti-wear performance of lubricating oil and evaluate the load-bearing capacity of lubricants, including constant wear, maximum seizure load PB, sintering load PD, comprehensive wear value ZMZ, friction coefficient and friction curve.


Advantages of Four Ball Method:

Compared with other friction and wear testing methods, the four-ball machine method has higher similarity simulation for common friction pairs such as bearings, and is easy to achieve the standardization and consistency of pairs. It is often used to screen and evaluate lubricants.  Four-ball test machine by replacing the friction pair, adjust the control parameters, can realize the simulation test of the actual working conditions, is the evaluation of lubricant wear resistance and distinguish its low, medium, high extreme pressure performance of the equipment.
